On my dad

It's another year away from my daddio on this day.

The older I get the more I get like my dad. (My mother, siblings and husband are shaking their heads furiously at this point in the post.)

I take pride in being like my dad.

I like history.
I like good music.
I like a good book.
I appreciate a good joke.
I laugh like he does.
I am sentimental.
If I get upset about something, I get sick to my stomach.
I feel like I get my thirst for knowledge from him as well.
I am a worry wart.
I am creative.
I am tenderhearted.

With the passing of my Grannie last year, his life gets ever so precious to me each day.

I find myself tearing up randomly when I think about him and his age. He's not super old by any means in our day and age.

I know that might sound dark and sad to some, but for me, it means that I've have a wonderful relationship with my dad.

I love you daddio. I'm glad to be like you.

It's so good to see such a strong relationship between a father and his daughter.

Hi y'all! The name's Samantha. You can call me Sam if you like. I am a lover to a boy I met at Falls Creek in the summer of 2005, that is a student of Jesus, a Sooner born and Sooner bred and when I die I'll be Sooner dead, Democrat by party, blonde to the core, and oldies but goodies kind of girl.
