Goal Clothes

A huge part of my motivation for weight loss is for our future family. Another part of my motivation is so that I just feel better. That has received more weight of importance as my weight loss journey has progressed. With every step I take and every pound I lose, I have more energy.

But...I'd be lying if I didn't say that I'm losing weight for the clothes too.

I recently have been making lists of my goal clothes I want to buy when I get to my goal weight.

So when Shabby Apple approached me about being an affiliate of theirs, I jumped on the opportunity because their clothes are on my lists.

Specifically, I'm obsessed with the 1965 Collection.

I kinda think I'm a little bit of an old soul because I really wish I could have grown up in the 1960s. You know when a certain First Lady was making headlines for the clothes she was wearing. I totally could have pulled the 60s look off. Not to mention, can you imagine what it would have been like to come of age during that time??

When I have to give up my flip flops and t-shirts for dresses and suits and heels, I hope I look as classy as these ladies do in this collection.

Happy Tuesday!

I am a Shabby Apple affiliate member. The opinions are my own.

Clothes are actually one of my best motivators and when I'm feeling like I need a kick in the pants I'll set a short term goal with the prize being shopping!

Clothes are a big motivator for me too.

I totally was born in the wrong time period. I LOVE clothes from the 50s and 60s. We have a great vintage clothes store down here and I am always on the hunt for some new threads. I definitely need to work on my legs/hips because right now, I won't wear dresses/skirts above my knees :)

I am currently on my Texas diet. This means I'm going back to my hometown in several weeks and will be seeing all my old friends and therefore need to look awesome! It's a pretty good motivator--and I'm someone who needs a lot of motivation when it comes to this sort of thing.
