Wednesday is "Bounce Dryer Bar" Day.

Bounce Dryer Bar: a bar that one sticks into the dryer that allows a person to no longer worry about sticking in a dryer sheet to get a fresh clean smell for all of one's laundry needs.

This is a sponsored review from BlogHer and Bounce.

If you're new to the ruby Turtle hippie times or are a regular reader and wonder why I have the title "Wednesday is 'insert a word here' Day every Wednesday, I'll tell you. When I started this blog, I wrote a post called "Wednesday is 'Hump' Day." I explained in the post what Hump Day meant and then told a small anecdote about my life relating to that word. Since that time, I've tried to do the very same each and every Wednesday. Sometimes, I've been bored with the blogging prompt I invented myself that no one followed whatsoever, but I am a creature of habit and just haven't been able to let go of it.

So as you can see above, I've explained what the Bounce Dryer Bar does and now I'm going to tell you how it has affected my life.

Even though, Brandon and I don't have kids, we lead very busy lives. Both of us are in graduate school and as you know Brandon landed his first real big kid job. So with our plates full, we try to share the chores around the house.

One chore that we equally hate? LAUNDRY.

Hands down, if we could have one chore that magically did itself, it would be laundry. We don't mind putting the loads through the washer and dryer, it's the after part where we have to fold it and put it away that sucks the big one....until recently. Well at least for me anyway.

When I received my little Bounce Dryer Bar in the mail, I was for once excited that I got mail that wasn't a bill, junk mail or a grocery ad.

I immediately put it in my dryer and worked through a quick load in the washer in anticipation of what my laundry would soon smell like.

Y'all know that sometimes what a dryer sheet or dryer bar isn't always what it ends up like.

In this case, the dryer bar smelled even better and I quickly folded my clothes while I smelled them over...and over...and over...and over again!

I have since done multiple laundry loads just to smell the clean smell.

Too bad, I'm so far behind, I've still several loads to go. But too good because this dryer bar is supposed to last for up to three months! So next month when I'm freaking out and trying to get my laundry done and folded before my family-more specifically my mom- comes into town, I can rely on my Bounce Dryer Bar to do the job.

Happy Wednesday!

**Why yes, I was compensated to write this post, but the opinions are all mine.
