Let's talk music a bit shall we?

I have a deep love for music. This also is a bond that I share with my dad.

We can hear a certain song on the radio and it will take us to a certain time in our lives and we immediately reminisce on that time in our lives. Sometimes I even can smell where I was. I'm sure we're not the only ones who do this, but I just love that my dad and I can always connect over music.

Fun little factoid about me: I did not listen to anything outside of oldies music until I was 8 years old. And my love for oldies still knows no bounds to this very day. I am sure I have said this on here before, but I still love to share it.

Anyway, another part of the tradition is that dad has always literally shared music with me by buying music over the years.

Example: When I got my beloved Camaro for my 16th birthday, my daddio put two fresh Beach Boys CDs in the driver's seat on the day that I drove my car to school for the first time.

And to this day, he still buys me the CDs. I know it's old fashioned and there is the magic and temptation known as iTunes, but there is just something about opening up a new CD.

So, here are some tunes that I've been drooling over recently.

Anything by Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young.

What are some cds you're dying for currently??

Happy Friday y'all!

I don't know if there is any I'm dying for, my music right now is Christmas themed, I can't get it out of my freakin' head.

Hi y'all! The name's Samantha. You can call me Sam if you like. I am a lover to a boy I met at Falls Creek in the summer of 2005, that is a student of Jesus, a Sooner born and Sooner bred and when I die I'll be Sooner dead, Democrat by party, blonde to the core, and oldies but goodies kind of girl.
