Daydream Believer and a Homecoming Queen...

I have a little over two weeks until my first exam. VOMIT.

BUT.

I have begun to daydream about what my grand plans will be over the break. Here are my current ideas:
  1. Crafting
  2. Reading
  3. Blogging
  4. Family
Crafting- There are three projects that I want to try. In fact, the day of my last exam, I think I'm gonna hotfoot it on over to HobLob, Mike's, Tar-jay, Kirk's (if I can find one) and Jo's that very afternoon. (Hobby Lobby, Michael's, Target, Kirkland's, and JoAnn's for those of you who don't know the lingo.)

  1. Mesh Wreath. My sister's IRL BFF found this tutorial. She has been making mesh wreaths left and right and I asked her for some help. That tutorial is the best I've seen thus far.
  2. Ornament Wreath. This is the craze on The Twitter right now and the best tutorial I've seen for that is AP's from I Love You More Than Carrots.
  3. Burlap/Linen Tree Skirt. I try to refrain myself from totally re-doing everything in my Christmas decorations arsenal each year. However, I always try to get at least one new piece to add a bit of variation. This year I've been on the hunt for a new tree skirt. Well Jenna from Jenna's Journey has the easiest and most affordable approach to this ruffled tree skirt I've seen.

Her Christmas Wreath

Her Fall Football Porch. She lives in a house divided if you couldn't tell.

Bless her husband's heart, he likes LSU.

But no worries, Jessika was raised right!

I love her Mardi Gras decorations.

Her spring wreath and

her summer wreaths are whimsical.
Reading. Surely this is obvious. My breaks are the only times that I can read for leisure. So after I wake up from my day and a half coma of sleep, I usually hit a stack of books that I've prepared for myself.
Blogging. I am hoping that I can get caught up on posting some fun things about Christmas as well.
Family. My family is coming up here for Christmas and we are delighted!!

Hope this finds you well.
Happy Tuesday!

Hi y'all! The name's Samantha. You can call me Sam if you like. I am a lover to a boy I met at Falls Creek in the summer of 2005, that is a student of Jesus, a Sooner born and Sooner bred and when I die I'll be Sooner dead, Democrat by party, blonde to the core, and oldies but goodies kind of girl.
