A Plethora of Things to Discuss...

I jumped on the Erin Condren Life Planner bandwagon. I had some birthday money from my MIL and got it half off and couldn't resist. I am into using it over a week now and I LOVE it. I have been pleasantly surprised and am already looking forward to making purchases in the future from there.

Isn't it pretty??

I'm walking in the local Breast Cancer walk this weekend. My grandma is a breast cancer survivor and I haven't had the opportunity to walk in her honor yet. I am super excited about it. If you'd like to make a donation to the cause, email me!

It got me thinking about finding a walk for my Grannie who past this year and was a victim of Alzheimer's Disease. I didn't realize that September is the month for that. So you can imagine I'll be all over it next year.

Then today, I was on The Twitter and saw that today is SPIRIT day. It's about showing love to the LGBT Youth community. No matter what your political or personal views are regarding this community, it is NOT okay that these kids are being bullied to the point that they don't think anyone cares and they commit suicide. If you have kids who are youth age, make sure you have serious conversations about Facebook and how their words can make or break a person.

I also am a fan of To Write Love on Her Arms. This is an organization that brings awareness to those who have been affected by suicide or attempted suicide or depression.

Finally, I love the current campaign going on to write over 400,000 soldiers currently serving our country to thank them for our service. http://bigthankyou2011.com/ I have family currently serving and of course tons of friends in the blogosphere that have husbands who serve our country.

I didn't mean for this post to turn into a broadcast of what my causes are...it just happened.

Hope this finds you well. Happy Thursday!

Love that you want to get involved for Alzheimer's Awareness. November is actually Alzheimer's Awareness month. :) I'll be walking here in November for it.

Hi y'all! The name's Samantha. You can call me Sam if you like. I am a lover to a boy I met at Falls Creek in the summer of 2005, that is a student of Jesus, a Sooner born and Sooner bred and when I die I'll be Sooner dead, Democrat by party, blonde to the core, and oldies but goodies kind of girl.
