Happy October y'all!

Why YES, there is another vlog for your viewing pleasure. (the crowd goes wild!! I wish.)

I'm hoping it's not too long. I have tendencies to explain every little detail and go on tangents according to my entire family husband. If I do, I apologize, I get the whole "I've never met a stranger in my life" bit from my daddy.

  1. If you see me look to the side, it's me looking at my notes I made so I wouldn't forget to talk about anything. Yes, I'm that vain.
  2. Why YES that is a Hugh Jass pile of CLEAN laundry in the background. Don't act like you're above it. I tried to get my baby sister and brother to fold it for money, but that whole living states away proved to be quite an issue.
  3. I look really tired.
  4. I say "um" a LOT. It's kind of annoying to me.
  5. YES, I talked about my hair AGAIN. Told you. V-A-I-N. Look'er up!

I'm leaving a recipe today just because. I threw this together one afternoon because I didn't want to cook everything separately. It's become a favorite at our house. Turns out other people have done it too and call it "Party Chicken." This is our variation.

    Party Chicken

    red potatoes
    broccoli (or green beans)
    1/2 stick of butter
    1/2 white onion
    lemon pepper
    cream of chicken

    1. Clean and cut up your potatoes and put them in the bottom of the pan. Pour in broccoli. Cut up the stick of butter and place evenly on your broccoli. (I like to also use fresh green beans. I get the organic bag from Wal-Mart.) Dice up 1/2 an onion and spread through the pan.
I used a full stick of buttah. Sue me.

    2. Lay however many pieces of your chicken you need for your family on top of that. Then smother with a can...or two of cream of chicken. I add just a bit of water to keep the broccoli wet.

    3. Season with lemon pepper and bake until your chicken is cooked. (I'm not talkin' about burnin it.)
As you can kinda tell, this isn't really precise. You can make it as big or as little as you need it. We also put in cheese at the end because well, we like cheese.

Don't forget that I'll be doing a Recipe Link-Up next Friday. It can be anything. Meals for the oven, crockpot, sides, etc.

Happy Saturday and Boomer Sooner y'all!
