Favorites on a Friday...

  1. Texts from my sisters. Since we live so far away from each other currently, we stay in touch by texting. They keep me laughing all day long and I am always happy to see a text from them.
  2. Watching movies at night with my hubby before we go to sleep.  The past few nights we've been watching a movie before we hit the hay even if it's only for 15-20 minutes. It's been a fun way to unwind and spend some time giggling together .
  3. Birthday Presents and Cards. I ordered my last gift with money from my inlaws. I'll blog about it at some point as it deserves more lengthy post. I got a card in the mail from b.e.g. and it made me smile!
  4. Grocery Shopping. I realize how corny this sounds, but I really do like grocery shopping and I really like doing it with my husband. It's fun to plan out meals with each other.
  5. The X-Factor. I only watched American Idol when Carrie Underwood won because she was from my home state and I barely made it through then because I couldn't stand to listen to Ryan Seacrest. I'd pop in every once in a while from time to time because I liked to watch Simon, but once he left I was pretty much done. We saw the X-Factor was coming on and decided to give it a shot as another show that would be there for me to watch or listen to while I was working on homework. But I gotta tell ya, we love it! It is now our Friday night ritual (for all two weeks of it now) to watch the episodes together. I love the dynamic that the judges have and I can't wait to see Simon and L.A. Reid face off.
  6. White Cheddar Cheez-Its.
  7. The Bible App. I got this free app to help keep up with my reading the Bible a little bit each day. It really is helping me stay on track.
  8. Twitter. I have a sty in my eye and last night I tweeted about remedies for it and got responses immediately. Seriously, I rarely google anymore. I just tweet about it.
  9. 80s Movies. I've mentioned before that on occasion I get hooked to watching different genres of movies. Right now, I've been watching all the 80s movies I can get.I just watched Working Girl. It was totally different from what I expected, but I liked it a lot.
  10. Unsweetened Tea. I know that this is blasphemy to be from the South and not like Sweet Tea, but I grew up on the other option and I LOVE it.
What are your favorites this Friday?

And I am a fan of 80's movies too, some Breakfast Club and Say Anything do me in.

I feel the same way about the unsweet tea, too. Sweet tea is not fun for me.

Hi y'all! The name's Samantha. You can call me Sam if you like. I am a lover to a boy I met at Falls Creek in the summer of 2005, that is a student of Jesus, a Sooner born and Sooner bred and when I die I'll be Sooner dead, Democrat by party, blonde to the core, and oldies but goodies kind of girl.
