Wednesday is "Small Town, USA" Day.

Small Town, USA: A small town is the anithesis of a big city, which is not necessarily a bad thing.

"Everybody dies famous in a small town." - Miranda Lambert

B and I are from small towns in Oklahoma. When we moved out of the state, it was quite the story.

Some thought it was great.
Some viewed it as a betrayal.

You wouldn't believe the people who were flabbergasted that we'd leave the state.

The people who supported us in our move of course included our families.

But for us, it has been exactly what we needed.

Even with B unemployed, we've learned a ton about ourselves in the last year.

Still we get homesick.

And it seems like with Brandon's job loss it was the perfect time to go home.

So we are!

In fact, we're already on the road.

If you live away from loved ones, hope you get to see them soon.

Happy Wednesday!

Going home is one of my favorite things in the world. It seems like such a momentous occasion every time. I especially love being immediately transported back in time. Well, most times anyway. (Wow, can I use the word "time" any more? lol) I'm from Louisiana, currently residing in Georgia so I can totally relate to the excitement of going home, even for a short period. Have fun! :)

Hi y'all! The name's Samantha. You can call me Sam if you like. I am a lover to a boy I met at Falls Creek in the summer of 2005, that is a student of Jesus, a Sooner born and Sooner bred and when I die I'll be Sooner dead, Democrat by party, blonde to the core, and oldies but goodies kind of girl.
