Cheerleaders are necessary.

Last week Gina wrote this post.

And I totally loved it. It is definitely worth your time.

It was one of those posts where God used another blogger to be a vessel for a lesson you needed to hear.

The most powerful lines from the post were, "I've talked on here before about my belief that you only have to hear something a certain number of times until you start to believe it. Things about you are the most powerful example of this."

I've talked about law school being a marathon. It is the ultimate race of endurance I've experienced in my entire life.

When training for any race, it is important to keep up motivation for yourself.

I am really good at encouraging others, but I flat out suck at this for myself.

So when I read Gina's post, I realized that I've got to remember to give myself a shot in the arm of pep/encouragement when it comes to I study for school.

I know it works. My best grades from law school are the ones that I believed in myself.

I realized that I needed a good saying to keep me going.

So far, all I've got is: I can.

Happy Thursday.
