Wednesday is "Homesick" Day.

Homesick: I don't really feel like this definition needs explanation.

I heard Bing Crosby's "I'll Be Home for Christmas" on my iTunes today and needless to say, I'm a mess.

I miss so many things about Oklahoma, I won't bore you with the details.

But I really miss our family.

I would get in the car right now if I could and head to Oklahoma.

I knew this would happen at some point, but when it does, it is always an inconvenient time because clearly I can't jump in the car.

If you have the fortune of being near family, be thankful.

Happy Wednesday!

Aww, I totally understand. I've been homesick to various degrees, and hope you're able to take comfort in the fact that the holidays are fast approaching, and that Brandon & Paisley are Oklahoma natives in your home!

Hugs, friend xoxo

aww, so sorry you are homesick :( I was thinking today that I need to get up to Perrysburg. Hopefully we can meet up while I'm there if you're willing to drive a little ways!?!

For the first time in a while, I've been feeling like this here, too. Even though we have our Navy family here, nothing places the real deal.

I've felt like that for the past 5 years...I'm excited that I'll be able to celebrate with everyone.

Hi y'all! The name's Samantha. You can call me Sam if you like. I am a lover to a boy I met at Falls Creek in the summer of 2005, that is a student of Jesus, a Sooner born and Sooner bred and when I die I'll be Sooner dead, Democrat by party, blonde to the core, and oldies but goodies kind of girl.
