An Ode to a Dishwasher

I am in love with my dishwasher y'all.

I know it's silly, but when you've been without one for 2 years and 7 months like we had, you realize just how important and convenient it is.

It also makes it so much easier to keep our kitchen clean. I dare I say it, enjoy cleaning these days and I owe it all to the dishwasher. I really do.

This dishwasher cuts down time wasted that could be used for what we'll call "extracurricular activities."

Oh please, if you turned up your nose in disgust, don't hate. I'm just keepin' it real around here. And if making a sexual reference on ye old blog does the trick at making my frown come from upside down, then so be it. (Sorry Loren and Will. I know you're grossed out right now. It happens what can I say.)

But I digress, really I do love my dishwasher. It's made my internal pledge to be a better housewifey easier.

So here's to you dishwasher, may our relationship be one that never ends.

Happy Monday.

P.S. This may have been one of the lamest posts I've written yet. I promise I'm trying to work on getting out of my blogging funk, really I am.

Totally not lame because when 2012 rolls around, I will be having a month-long, maybe year-long Ode to the Washer and Dryer blog posting carnival!

The novelty of COIN-FREE! and SWIPE CARD-FREE! and NOT SHARING YOUR W&D! will not rub off for a long, long, oh, a very long, long time. Trust.

So I get the dishwasher love. Really, I do. And I can hang with sexual references. HA!

I'm sure the 'extracurricular activites' are def. giving you extra points in being more housewifey with the hubster! :)

I don't know what I'd do without my dishwasher. But I'd definitely not be having as many extracurricular activities...and I'd never think of that if it weren't for you! Hilarious!

I LOVE MY DISHWASHER! I jumped with joy when I found them in military housing.

Because, seriously, I'd soooo rather do "extra-curricular activities" with my sailor than dishes;)
