I am protesting.

I am protesting Fall that is. (If you know me, you know I like to protest a lot of things.)

Don't get me wrong.

I love Fall. A. LOT.

Because with fall there is...

Crisp Air.

MUMS!! Oh the mums! (Specifically the ones on OU's campus in the fall.)

Roast, carrots and potatoes.

Leaves turning.

School Supplies.

Apple cider.

BUT there is a time and a place for everything.

And Fall does not and should not have a place in August!

It was 64 degrees the other night.

At this rate, it'll be winter by my birthday in September!

And so, I'm taking a stand. I'm protesting.

Now excuse me while I go put on my sweat pants. It's cold outside.

Happy Friday!

I'm not ready for full on Fall, just a cool down. But I'm going to get Fall regardless since I'll be in New England. :)

God Bless the North, sister, where the nights are cool, and the four seasons thrive, God's country, indeed!!

A personal philosophy of mine is that it is easier to get warm than it is to cool down, hence my preference for the cooler seasons than the warmer ones.

I love everything about fall except for the fact that winter is coming up next.

I don't even want to hear about it! I'd kill for those temps right now!

I'm with b.e.g, and I'm from Florida. Embrace it, girl! With the humidity here, we were at 113 degrees by 9:45 this morning here!

Not me, I'm arms open fully ready to embrace fall...I even got a spiced pumpkin yankee plug in today.

I agree. I'm totally protesting with you

Girl - I have been desperate for cool nights that I have been soaking them up this week. I'd prefer not to have winter in September, either, but I am welcoming Fall with open arms anytime it wants to arrive here in Ontario :)

Come visit me! It's so hot and humid here. I wish we could just have a little of your weather.

Hi y'all! The name's Samantha. You can call me Sam if you like. I am a lover to a boy I met at Falls Creek in the summer of 2005, that is a student of Jesus, a Sooner born and Sooner bred and when I die I'll be Sooner dead, Democrat by party, blonde to the core, and oldies but goodies kind of girl.
