Wednesday is "Cyndi Lauper" Day.

First, thank you to urbandictionary.com for your wonderful definitions of life's most important words to be defined. Y'all always have exactly what I wish to convey.

Cyndi Lauper: an American icon who rose to fame in the highly visual era of the 1980's. Her family-friendly punk rock look (wild hairstyles and thrift store clothing) often overshadowed the legitimate brilliance of her music. During that era she exploded with seminal music hits from her first two albums, such as "Girls Just Want to Have Fun," "Time After Time," "She Bop," "Money Changes Everything", "The Goonies 'R Good Enough," "True Colors," and "Change of Heart".

This post is for all the girls at my former job. (Hi girls!)

Last Friday, my boss asked me to say a few words at my going away party. I am more of a plan my speech type person. It keeps me on track. And by keep me on track, I mean keeps me from crying more.

For the past 2 and half years I've been working for a District Attorney here in Oklahoma.

My time there was extremely fulfilling and fast paced. I enjoyed my time and would not change any of it. I learned so much from all. It was not just work but life experience as well.

I will miss our great conversations, lunches at Speedway, y'all complaining about my love for Christmas music, and youtube searches.

I hope that you all miss me as much as I will miss you.

I had a ton of fun with you all...just like Cyndi Lauper.

Happy Wednesday!

I LOVE Cyndi Lauper. I saw her in concert once and she didn't disappoint. My mom was saying the other day that she doesn't see what people see in her. I disagreed...loudly!

Oh Cyndi! P and I love her!

I'm sorry you have to leave your co-workers! They really become such soulmates, don't they?
