Pbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbb? Is this thing on?

Hello.

Testing?

So I hope everyone is well. I have been sick since Tuesday and it is awful. Tonight is the first time that I've felt some relief. The key is to stay cool, with my nose clean and crud coughed and spit out of my mouth. I know that's gross, but it's my reality.

I stayed up with everyone's blogs until Thursday when it got really bad. But it was a nice four day holiday. I have to admit though, I missed the blogging world.

Here is what I figured out while I was gone.

Brandon and I have decided that we're going to get our house packed. We say to each other all the time that we are ready to be in Michigan. But we're not ready.

The official moving date is July 31st. BUT if Brandon gets a job, then we're heading up there sooner obviously.

We've been struggling a lot with weary hearts recently. We're weary because we're ready to go, but can't go because Brandon doesn't have a job.

We need that job to come through for us!

And so seeing Michigan in May was great, but it also was just a huge teaser in many ways.

Our hearts are there.

This morning, we had a guest speaker at church and he spoke about how we have to be ready for God to show up.

And after church, I could tell something was bothering Brandon. I pestered him until he finally told me and he said that it was the usual. While he has one last class, it is online. So we can go at any time.

But y'all our house is no where near ready.

Anyway, Brandon asked me if I would pray with him about everything and so we did.

And I realized while we were praying that we need to be ready to go to Michigan.

That way, when God does his work, we will be ready to go.

So this week begins the task of organizing into storage, garage sale and moving with us to Michigan.

We need to get down the essentials so we can be ready to go.

We are waiting for God to do his business.

But in the mean time we've got to do our part too.

So get ready for some posts about my husband's hoarding habits y'all.

And also, get ready for another post about God doing his great and mighty work of miracles.

Because we're moving to Michigan, with a job in hand.

After all, Jesus is in the business of doin' miracles.

And we're gonna get ready for ours.

My hubby is totally a hoarder too. I've gotten him to throw stuff away as we prepare to put our house on the market...here's hoping the same for you!

I'm glad that you're feeling better - being sick in the summer truly is the worst.

Getting ready for your miracle is such an amazing way to look at things. God will bless you in his way - wonderful that y'all will be ready for it.
