When in Rome...err Ann Arbor.

Yes, that's right. I'm blogging this from my future home.

It was interesting to think about this trip.

Normally, people get excited because they're going to see a new place and then return home. It is a place to check off their list of places to visit.

But for me and Brandon we're seeing our future home for the next few years.

I will be the first to admit that when we first took off last night I was completely overwhelmed. I cried even. I also can blame part of this on PMS, but that's another time and another story.

The point, my dear friends is that I was very scared about everything and every fear that I'd already dealt with or pushed back to wherever washed up last night.

Up until now, it hasn't been real that we're actually going on this adventure.

But today when we saw this sign for our exit, I felt a sense of relaxation and assurance from God that this is where we're supposed to be. I cried again but it was a few brief tears of joy because I know that God is with us.

I am so excited about our time here, however long that may be.

It is beautiful! There are trees everywhere. I really have never seen a place so wooded as this area. I knew it was famous for its trees, but still it is very beautiful to see. Brandon and I have already found tons of local places we can't wait to try out for dinner some time. It looks like a fun and good place to be.

And I am so excited about all of it!

So, if you'll excuse me I've got to hit the showers so I can learn to do like the Ann Arborites do.

And show them a thing or two about bein' a Sooner while I'm at it!

Happy Wednesday again!!

P.S. I'll be posting a lot during the trip, but I won't be able to comment.
P.P.S. I have decided to leave the giveaway open until Friday because it will be easier to tackle when I get back. I will announce a winner sometime later this weekend.

Only 2.5-3 hours away from me! So glad to hear that you're adjusting so well!

Hi y'all! The name's Samantha. You can call me Sam if you like. I am a lover to a boy I met at Falls Creek in the summer of 2005, that is a student of Jesus, a Sooner born and Sooner bred and when I die I'll be Sooner dead, Democrat by party, blonde to the core, and oldies but goodies kind of girl.
