For your reading pleasure...

Press play and read on friends....

Yes, we're on the road again.

This has been a fun, fruitful and eventful trip for all. I am looking forward to our new home town and all that this adventure in our life together will hold.

In the meantime, for your reading pleasure, I received a blog award and I thought I'd play the game and pass it along. Thanks to Gina by the way, for the award.
The rules about this award are that I have to list seven things about myself.

  1. I am currently growing out my hair because of my separation from my hair dresser in Oklahoma. The longer it gets, the more I want to a)cut it or b) let it grow to a ridiculous length. Think Amanda Seyfried from Dear John and Letters to Juliet. It is a highly controversial move that is regularly debated in my mind and in the minds of my family. I recently discovered I can put it into a small ponytail and think I may be changing some minds soon.
  2. Every time I step into Forever 21 I buy a new pair of sunglasses. I can't help myself. And really, you'd think I'd have a huge collection by now, but I don't. And the reason I don't is because these rockin' glasses are either a)taken by my hippie baby sister Loren or b)lost. It's cool though because they're only $5.80. I think that price adds to their greatness.
  3. When I nap, I need to have a 2-3 hour nap. If this doesn't happen, I am a big grizzly bear. I freely admit it here, but I will deny it should we ever have this conversation in person.
  4. My family loves to play twenty questions. Basically we can ask any question we want of the person and the who, what, when, where, and why's of the situation do not count as part of the 20. I love this game we play. I learned that my dad loves the 4th of July and my mom loves Valentine's Day. The game continues tomorrow on the road.
  5. Officially, Paisley is my child. I miss her something fierce right now. I have been sleeping like crap for the past two days because I don't have that 30 pound fur ball snuggled right up against my back. I can't wait to see her! We are so excited to bring her with us when we move.
  6. I have a very small composition book titled "Blogging Homework." When I say small, I'm talking handheld size. I think this is something every blogger should have. It would help organize their thoughts or be a place for them to jot down ideas for posts. I know this sounds nerdy. But I'm cool with it.
  7. If there is a royal engagement this summer for Prince William and Kate Middleton, you can bet your booty that I'll be staying up late to watch the wedding later this fall. I love the royals. There is just something about their tradition and history.
I am passing this on to all who have entered my contest!! And speaking of, today really is the LAST day to enter the giveaway!!

Happy Friday!

Would you believe I've never been in Forever 21? I have been waiting to go till after I have this baby and can maybe fit into some of their clothes...but sunglasses for 5.80 might just get me in there more quickly. Thanks for the tip!
