Books, clothes, magazines, mail and movies.

Last night after work, I headed up to Tulsa to meet with my family for dinner and a movie.

I got a wonderful surprise!

My momma bought my Easter dress and shoes! (to be revealed at a later date.)

AND...she handed me $50 to just blow.

So I did what any self respecting blondie would do.

I bought another dress and 3 books. I know it sounds nerdy and all, but I don't care.

And I bought what any self-respecting hippie like myself would begin to need this time of year.

I bought a black maxi dress from Old Navy.

We had a great evening and we saw the Blind Side. I've already seen it, but I forgot just how much I love that movie. If you haven't seen it, take the time and do so!

And now this brings us to the three "M's": magazines, mail and movies.

We ran to Wal-Mart for a few things because while it was beautiful, sunny and 70 today, it's supposed to come a blizzard tomorrow. Literally. Accumulating snow all weekend long.

I know crazy huh.

Welcome to Oklahoma weather is all I have to say to that.

So I made sure to get some magazines and I bought my second copy of "The Lightning Thief" because Paisley ripped the first one to shreds.

As you can see, I read a little bit of it all. I've got to finish "Chasing Harry Winston" by Lauren Weisberger before I get to this stack.

I expect I'll be through all of this before a month is over. I've been trying to increase my reading to help get myself ready for all the lovely law school reading I'll soon have to do.

I also got some snail mail from b.e.g. today!!! I LOVE getting mail. So thanks b.e.g.!!

Also, Julie and Julia and 500 Days of Summer came in the mail today too.

So while the weather was super nice today, I won't be offended if I have to spend the weekend with the stack of my lovely goodies.

Hope you have a great weekend.

Love the dress and can't wait to see the Easter dress. I really want to read Same Kind of Different as Me. The best part of living in Dallas is their huge library system! I never spend money on books anymore!

I just screamed aloud. From my bed. (Alone...duh.)

Because you and I bought the exact.same.maxi.dress.in.the.exact.same.color.from.Old.Navy.on.the.exact.same.day!

Teehee!

P.S. Post Easter dress ASAP! I just know I need to see it (and will probably covet it...since we share the same taste in dresses and all.)

I was just about to post that I need that dress pronto.

And then I saw Brittany's comment.

Girls, if we don't meet each other IRL soon, I just don't know what I'll do.
