Awards, a recipe and a bit of sad news.

My pal Brittany and new bloggy follower b.e.g gave me the Happy 101 Award.

This award, meant to be gifted to bloggers who make you smile, has two requirements.

1. List 10 things that make you happy
2. List 10 bloggers who brighten your day.

  1. My sister, Jessi is coming home for the holidays this week. I can't wait to stay up late watching Christmas movies with her once she gets home. Of course there are the bowl games to watch as well.
  2. Rumor has it, Vera Bradley makes dog collars. This makes my heart smile and my dad's eyes roll. :)
  3. I have 7 and a half work days until my little Christmas Vacation. I can't wait.
  4. On Christmas Eve, all the kids sleep in one room together. We've been doing it since Brandon and I started dating.
  5. I know I should have had my Christmas cards out by now, but I'm glad I waited because now we have Paisley to put in the picture!
  6. My husband is wonderful. I lost my camera cords and he got on and took care of the situation right away.
  7. I have not bit my nails in over 6 months. I know not really a big deal but it is for me because I bit mine for forever.
  8. I am still super happy about this little lady.
  9. We had lasagna tonight for dinner. Seriously it is one of those dishes I could eat for the rest of my life, I love it that much kinda things.
  10. It feels good to be finished with the LSAT. I am filling out applications like a mad woman these days. It's actually kind of a no pressure type deal. I really like it.
I am tagging: Kelsey, Jessi, Heather, Jessika, Katherine, Megan, Daffy and if you're lurking speak up, because I'm tagging you!
I also got this cute award from Daffy.
Isn't it fun?
And Travis asked for my recipe for Taco Calzone. It is super simple.

Put your taco meat, with shredded cheese inside crescent rolls. Bake for the amount and heat listed on the crescent roll package. Enjoy. I make mine extra cheesy.

And the sad sister Jessi's dog of almost 11 years past away today. He was the best doggy she ever had and she loved him lots. So say a little prayer for her. It was a rough day for all of us.

Hope this finds you well on Saturday. I'm moping just a little because football season is almost over.

Happy Christmas.

Thanks for the award. I am going to have to do this ASAP! I just LOVE being tagged! haha. I am so sorry for your families loss over Jessi's dog. I am sending happy thoughts your way!

Do you think I'm emasculating my dogs (my big, male dogs) if I run out and get them for them ASAP?

Also, tell Jess I'm sorry about her loss. I know how hard that can be.

So stinkin' cute! We've talked about getting this breed when we're ready for our next dog. Super cute!!!

Thanks a million for the Super Sweet tag! I'm TERRIBLE with awards. I'll do my best to follow the rules and pass it along. In fact, I'm stepping away from the comment box now to make a note for myself.....
