A fun little doo-dad.

Thank you Brittany for giving me fun Saturday blogging material.

And it should be noted that I got to go home and sleep in my own California King size bed last night.

Now let's get down to business.

1. What is your current obsession? Christmas movies.

2. What are you wearing today? Blue sweats, high school football t-shirt and an OU sweatshirt.

3. What’s for dinner? Soup, I think and I am NOT excited about it.

4. What’s the last thing you bought? Mickey D’s.

5. What are you listening to right now? Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and The Santa Clause 2

6. What do you think about the person who tagged you? Brittany is a wonderful writer and she is becoming a good friend.

7. If you could have a house, totally paid for, fully furnished, anywhere in the world, where would you like it to be? Gosh…I’d want it to be somewhere historical in the U.S. like Boston or Washington D.C.

8. What are your must-have pieces for summer? Yellow-Box flip-flops because they are the most comfortable yet so cute and Big sunglasses.

9. If you could go anywhere in the world for the next hour, where would you go? Somewhere that it is snowing with my besties.

10. Which language do you want to learn? I took Italian in college and I’d like to be fluent.

11. What’s your favorite quote? “Go confidently in the direction of your dreams. Live the life you imagined.”- Henry David Thoreau

12. Who do you want to meet right now? I think it would be cool to meet some of you guys.

13. What is your favorite colour? Red on a regular basis, but I go through tons of phases. I really do like the rainbow…except for orange;)

14. What is your favorite piece of clothing in your own closet? An OU hoodie.

15. What is your dream job? The President of the United States.

16. What’s your favorite magazine? USWeekly or People…I know they’re not the most respectful magazines, but I love them shamelessly.

17. If you had $100 now, what would you spend it on? Mani/pedi and some clothes

18. What do you consider a fashion faux pas? I cannot handle brown and black.

19. Who according to you is the most over-rated style icon? I'm probably about to lose some readers for this, but Audrey Hepburn. She's good, but she's no Jackie Kennedy.

20. What kind of haircut do you prefer? I have had all kinds. I like long hair and short hair…for now I’ve been sportin’ short hair.

21. What are you going to do after this? Watch more Christmas movies and the OU game of course. It is Saturday after all.

22. What are your favorite movies? The Wizard of Oz is my all-time favorite. Then it’s Christmas Vacation, Legally Blonde, Father of the Bride I and II, and White Christmas.

23. What are three cosmetic/makeup/perfume products that you can't live without?

1. Hair Product: I am a firm believer in spending money on your hair. I don’t care what kind of hair you have, be it curly, straight, colored, not colored, you should spend some time and money on them. A good hair-do makes a difference to me.

2. Perfume/Deodorant: Smelling good is very important as well, but do not over do it. I know people who take a bath in their perfume and it is not attractive in the slightest.

3. Eye-liner and mascara: I know this technically makes it four things but to me these two go hand in hand because I have blonde body hair which means if I don’t have these two things on, I look like a completely different person. Plus they say your eyes are the window to your soul, so why not make sure that the view is beautiful.

24. What inspires you? A good book, a great speech by a politician, my family, my faith, friends and my husband.

25. Give us three styling tips that always work for you?

1. Keeping my body groomed. That means taking my meds for my Rosacea, getting my hair done, keeping my nails neat and orderly. If a Hollywood starlet is dressed in the best designer, but has roots or her nails look like trash, she completely goes off the radar for me.

2. I like classic jewelry pieces. I wear my wedding rings, pearl earrings and my Pandora bracelet every day. Costume jewelry is okay, but to me a lady looks far more elegant and at home with herself with pieces on that means something to her.

3. Color. I love to wear color and yes black counts as a color. I also like to match color schemes.

26. What do you do when you “have nothing to wear” (even though your closet’s packed)? I grab my big sunglasses and crank up the radio. It works every time.

27. Coffee or tea? Unsweet Tea. I don’t like coffee. I just can’t make myself drink it.

28. What do you do when you are feeling low or terribly depressed? Retail therapy if I can afford it. If I can’t then I get to blogging or texting my friends and I read a good book.

29. What is the meaning of your name? Listener. It is Aramaic/English.

30. Which other blogs do you love visiting? Waaaaaaaaay too many to pinpoint just a few.

31. Favorite Dessert/Sweet? It’s not that I can’t pick just one, I refuse to pick just one. I love my momma’s dirt cake, pumpkin pie, strawberries and sugar, ice cream sandwiches, peanut butter sheet cake blackberry cobbler, and chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream.

32. Favorite Season? Weather: Summer, Holiday: Thanksgiving and Christmas so right now basically.

33. If I come to your house now, what would you cook for me? Mexican food.

34. What is the right way to avoid people who purposefully hurt you? This is really hard for me so much so that I can’t do it sometimes, but I think it is important to confront them in Christian love. (Matthew 18:15-19)

35. How do you calm yourself down when you are agitated or angry? I turn up the radio and usually call my sister.

36.Who is the modern ideal girl: The one who knows how to shop, dress and enjoy, or the one who is simple but manages the house, kids and herself well? I think these two types are one in the same. Each woman no matter her station has her own unique style

Happy Saturday girls and BOOMER SOONER.

I can't believe I didn't ask you how you felt about coffee yesterday during our discussion yesterday.

I'll forgive you for it, though!
