I swear I had a great blog topic this morning. I even wrote down a few thoughts on a sticky to bring home tonight.

Can't find the sticky.

Can't remember the idea for the blog post.

This weirds me out a little because my Grannie has Alzheimer's disease.

I walked all the way through the house to see if I could find something to jog my brain. But since I got this idea at work, it didn't help.

And there is no way I'm driving 45 minutes to jog my brain.

So for tonight we'll go random thought style.

  • Football is FINALLY here! Thank goodness and Boomer Sooner!! I also hope that the Florida Gators lose this weekend. I'm sorry to be that way, but they act like it's going to be a walk in the park for the season and it may be on paper. But it sure would be nice if they got a nice serving of humble pie. I'm thinking David v. Goliath style. And oh yeah, since this thought is a little tacky already, let's just make it full blown and say how happy I am to NOT root for mascots that require me to "call" them.
  • I think I may have lost a reader or two with that last comment, but really I get tired of hearing from those two teams specifically about how there is no other conference better than the SEC. No I'm not bitter and yes I know their records as well as I know my own conferences. I just think that people from the SEC are a little too snooty for their own good. And now I've stepped off my soapbox.
  • This has been a long week and a rocky start to my favorite month of the year. Maybe that's why I'm a little griper tonight...besides the fact that I still can't remember what I was going to talk about...
Never mind, I remember now and it was kind of a lame idea.

There are four books that to be release over the month that I am excited about: Jackie and Bobby, A Love Affair, True Compass by Edward Kennedy, The Lost Symbol by Dan Brown and Splendor, the last of the Luxe series.

What a lame flippin' post idea that was.

Happy Thursday.

I'm still here! You are not worthless, I do the same thing all the time. I think of this great idea, forget, and then remember half way through my new idea. Usually the new one is better -- I hope at least! Have a great weekend!!

Hi y'all! The name's Samantha. You can call me Sam if you like. I am a lover to a boy I met at Falls Creek in the summer of 2005, that is a student of Jesus, a Sooner born and Sooner bred and when I die I'll be Sooner dead, Democrat by party, blonde to the core, and oldies but goodies kind of girl.
