Tuesday High/Low: the September edition:

High: It's September and that means the beginning of fall! (Remember I like this time of year??? It's after New Year's that I hate!)
Low: Unfortunately next month is October, which means Halloween. I do NOT like Halloween at all.

High: The mums at OU will soon be appearing on campus. They are so pretty.
Low: Summer is over.

High: I think this goes without saying for most people, but college football begins this weekend for OU as well. We play BYU.
Low: I also get the crud sometime during this month because of seasonal changes.

High: For some reason I think of Dawson's Creek in September. I think it has to do with the great music that was on the show. I also listen to a lot of Fray, Jason Mraz, John Mayer, Coldplay and Iron and Wine in this month.
Low: Something bad happens in the fall time. It never fails.

Edited to Add: It happened today.

High: Good tv like Gossip Girl, Grey's, Private Practice and Brothers and Sisters starts.
Low: Good summer tv like Army Wives and RHONJ won't be back until next year.

High: Starbucks. I don't drink coffee, but the drinks I do like from Starbucks are appropriate to drink for the next 6 months at least. I for one am excited to partake of some white hot chocolate with caramel drizzle and caramel apple spice.
Low: I don't make enough money to afford Starbucks as much as I'd like to have it. But God doesn't give you more than you can handle and that's why he took Starbucks out of my hometown.

High: This also has to do with food. In September because of the crisp air we start to eat meals again like roast, carrots and potatoes and grilled cheese and chicken noodle soup.
Low: I am fresh out of the chicken noodle soup part. As of now and that is what I want most.

High: Because of the beginning of fall, I can wear hoodies!! Speaking of I need a new OU one.
Low: Because of fall, I have to start wearing close-toed shoes in general. No more flip-flops for the most part.

High: This is also the best time of the year to pull out my Rocket Dogs. Some prefer Tom's. But honestly, there is nothing better than putting on a favorite t-shirt, jeans, hoodie and your rocket dogs. By the way, I need a new pair of those too.
Low: I usually find a way to get into trouble on my birthday. Don't know how this happens at 24, but it does...lecture from my parents included.

High: This is my birthday month. On the 10th, I'll be 25. I have decided that this is the "Classic" Birthday because it takes 25 years before a car is considered a classic. Can you tell I grew up around cars? Ha! My dad also says there are famous movies that anyone who keeps up with the film industry should see. And if you haven't seen them, you hear something like, "Oh you haven't seen that! It's a classic!"

So I'll be a classic girl as of the 10th.

Happy Tuesday.

I hate Halloween, too! Just hate it! (No one ever agrees with me on this; so glad I have a friend in this!)

Hi y'all! The name's Samantha. You can call me Sam if you like. I am a lover to a boy I met at Falls Creek in the summer of 2005, that is a student of Jesus, a Sooner born and Sooner bred and when I die I'll be Sooner dead, Democrat by party, blonde to the core, and oldies but goodies kind of girl.
