Not famous...not even close.

Everyone occasionally does a post about why they blog. This is mine.

I started blogging a little over a year ago to keep up with one of my best friends who moved to New York. Then I started reading other blogs and soon I was hooked. I came up with my personal weekly blog, Educational Wednesdays.

But alas, I am not famous.

I'm not whining about it, I promise.

I read a lot of famous bloggers and am blown away by the fact that they have to deal with some of the meanie heads that they do. No one should have to deal with some of the people they do. At the same time, they have to realize that there are people who aren't always going to agree with them. That is part of life.

Yes, the people CHOSE to go to that blogger's site.

But the blogger also CHOSE to put their post out there.

Do I think it's appropriate for someone to comment rudely on a-in most cases-stranger's parenting or budgeting styles for example? Not in the slightest.

But come on, if you're upset about it, a) confront the person or b) then be responsible and brave enough to report the commenter to Blogger. Part of the breakdown of our country is that people forget their actions have consequences let alone really doing the right thing by taking responsibility for them. Blogger is an excellent company because they do not tolerate such mean spirited CRAP.

Please remember that there are other readers who absolutely LOVE you and you do have to take the good with the bad. That's just how it is.

I'd be lying if I told you I would hate to be a famous blogger. Right now I don't think I would hate it. I also don't know what it's like to be famous either. And technically because I'm not a famous blogger, I may be totally off the mark with this post. Some of you might not even consider this a credible post to take into account for that very reason. And that's fair because it's your opinion.

But then again, that's what our blogs are...our opinions.

It's probably a good thing I'm not famous because then I wouldn't have the opportunity to have the great followers that I have. I really do love all of you and hope that wherever you are tonight you find yourself blessed, happy and loved.

I know I am.
