Wednesday is "Busted" Day

As usual, our good friend Urban Dictionary will be providing us with our definition for this week's edition of "Educational Wednesday's"...

Busted: Getting caught doing something "you shouldn't have been doing", either by the cops, parents, a significant other, etc.

As you know we've moved to a new home. We love it here, but there are a few things we gave up. The two biggest examples are our nice cable package and cable internet. We live in the University Housing and while both of these options come with the cost of room and board. Things are a little different. The internet is not as fast and sometimes it doesn't work. It actually drives me up the wall. But that's neither here nor there. This post is about the effects of no DVR in our lives.

As you can imagine we can't watch our shows at our speed. We can't fast forward through commercials and we don't have over 200 channels to choose from like the good ol' days. We are officially down to approximately 60 or so. I know that is still a lot, but girls it has had the oddest impact on my husband.

About a week ago, I came home from work and my husband had the tv on the Disney Channel. I didn't think anything about it because my brother and sister had been over earlier that day.

I came home to the Disney Channel being on tv when I got home from work on three other consecutive occasions.

My husband LOVES the Disney Channel.

I told him I was going to blog about this new love and he said, "So what I'm 26 and I still play video games."

Good defense sweetheart.

Happy Wednesday.

I love the new layout. I might have to use your girl. I am hoping after a "real" paycheck I might be able to splurge! See you soon!
