These are a few of my favorite things: bloggy girls

Well it is that time of the week again: Favorite Friday...err Saturday. I didn't know exactly what I should have blogged about yesterday.

It had been a rough week for me.

As I have mentioned/whined before, January is not my month in so many ways. I even dislike it so much I hate to write the number one when I write the date. I know it sounds silly, but I really struggle through this month and season in general. January is hardest, February gets a little better, March is alright and by April I am as good as new.

And so reading about all of your lives through the bloggy world has made more of a difference than you will ever know.

I am not as sad/depressed as I seem, I promise. I have a loving God who is sovereign. My husband is caring to a fault and a family that roots for me from the time I get up in the morning to the time I sleep at night...and probably even while I'm sleeping too.

I am on my way to law school.

That has been one of my biggest life ambitions and I am totally within reach of it...and I haven't even fully applied yet.

I am not bragging. In fact, I have to tell you that being accepted to law school has been something that I have considered to be a burden until recently. I forgot that law school is part of God's plan for my life.

I have suffered with this seasonal depression for awhile, but never as hard as this one. I think that when we talk about our struggles, we allow ourselves to be vulnerable and this not only is a sign for Jesus to come swooping to hug us with his LOVE and mercy. It also sends off huge red flags to Satan to send in his demons of loneliness, depression and fear.

But we must never forget that in our weakness HE IS MADE STRONG.

Girls, I am so thankful to read about your lives every day. You remind me that there is so much to be thankful for and on my whiniest days remind me to get back up again.

You girls are some of my favorites.

Now in true RTH form, I've said all of this to tell you about someone else.

It's about a new bloggy girl ...literally. Seriously, this little girl is a day old and I am sure she already has her own blog. If she doesn't give it a few months.

This beautiful baby girl is in Tulsa, Oklahoma and her name is Harper. She needs our prayers. For further details click here. She has a wonderful momma named Kelly and a daddy named Scott that need our prayers too.

And now if you'll excuse me I've got to go help my hubby do the dishes. Yes, I said do the dishes. You didn't read this blog wrong.

Hi y'all! The name's Samantha. You can call me Sam if you like. I am a lover to a boy I met at Falls Creek in the summer of 2005, that is a student of Jesus, a Sooner born and Sooner bred and when I die I'll be Sooner dead, Democrat by party, blonde to the core, and oldies but goodies kind of girl.
