"Now that's holiday!"

Kids, I've decided that like the ABC Family Channel, I'm going to have my own 25 days of Christmas...well sorta. I've decided that I am going to be committed to posting for the first 25 days of December. I know you're not surprised in the least at this point about my holiday spirit, but I've got a little story to tell kids.

Once upon a time...okay well actually it was yesterday, I finally let myself freak out about the LSAT. And the day before that, my sister went back to Never Never Land aka Norman. The skies were dark and the clouds looked grim for it is another 17 days before I see my sister again and it is only 4 days until I take the LSAT. They were dark times. And to top it all off, I was/am running on a serious lack of sleep. You can ask anyone, I am dragging tail in the office today.
I was on the verge of GASP...losing my Christmas spirit!!

Now do you understand the severity of the situation? I began to wonder if Christmas could exist with such a dark cloud as the LSAT waiting for me on Saturday. Oh sure I could celebrate after, but what about those 6 days lost...and then the magesty of Jesus appeared the vessel of one of God's creatures.

I work for the humina humina blah-dy blah and today one of the people who come into the office regularly came in early due to health reasons.

As he left, he smiled and told me "Merry Christmas."

I smiled and told him, "you too."

Now I know it might sound silly, but the simple wishes of a Merry Christmas to me totally turned my day around. (Not to mention the fact that this is the first time this Christmas season that someone has wished me so.)
And I thought to myself that the man's simple but genuine wishes were the very essence of what Christmas is all about.

God sent his son simply so we truly might be able to know his genuine love for us.
It is as simple as the wishing of glad tidings and great joy to one another.

So Merry Christmas everyone...Merry Christmas indeed.
