My boss, the Scrooge

I do not talk about work at all, but today warrants a good occasion.

I absolutely love Christmas. I know you all know this, but my boss is the exact opposite.

He does not like the fact that it is too commercialized and that also he gets burdened by the fact that so many children go without at Christmas time.

This is a good reason to be a Scrooge.

He spoke about being fortunate enough to always HAVE at Christmas. His wife is a school teacher and every year like my mom she buys school supplies and at Christmas time she buys presents too.

I never knew what Christmas was like without presents.
I never had to worry about that being a possibility.
I never had to wonder at any moment where my next meal would be.
I never had to worry about being cold.
I never had to worry about my clothes not fitting/being worn through/whether or not my patches would hold.

This is all due to my parents. I hope that all of you enjoyed the same growing up. And if you know someone who isn't, I hope you do what you can to change that situation.

Merry Christmas

Hi y'all! The name's Samantha. You can call me Sam if you like. I am a lover to a boy I met at Falls Creek in the summer of 2005, that is a student of Jesus, a Sooner born and Sooner bred and when I die I'll be Sooner dead, Democrat by party, blonde to the core, and oldies but goodies kind of girl.
