Wednesday is "Thanksgiving" Day.

Now I fully realize that Thanksgiving is not until tomorrow, but today is the educational post. I also won't have a chance to post tomorrow either. So to keep things respectable and short, I'll only list ten things that I am thankful for this year.

  1. I am thankful for my husband. He has understood me and heard me when no one else could so many times this year. He loves me with everything he is and treats me like I'm the president and he's the First Man.
  2. I am thankful for my job. I might complain about it on occasion, but I am thankful for the experience and the people.
  3. I am thankful for solid friendship. I didn't realize how much I would miss them once I left Norman last year, but I am thankful for all of you.
  4. I am thankful for good food. My grandpa is a retired executive chef for the Air Force and tonight on the menu is stuffed pork loin with twice baked potatoes. The appetizer is a salsa with shrimp and crab meat mixed in it. Be. Jealous.
  5. I am thankful to be in Vegas. This is the first time that my mom's dad's family has spent Thanksgiving has spent together and it is a blast to have everyone together. We don't get to do it enough.
  6. I am thankful for being able to wear flip-flops on Thanksgiving. Seriously, it is always so cold on Thanksgiving. The good weather is a nice change of pace.
  7. I am thankful that my grannie came with us. She has progressive Alzheimer's, so the time we have with her is precious and few.
  8. I am thankful for pumpkin pie. Not too many people like this Thanksgiving staple, but I am personally a connoisseur. Tomorrow is looking like a good day for us fans.
  9. I am thankful for blogging. It has been more fun that I would have ever expected.
  10. I am thankful for my new car. I don't think I have had a chance to mention this one yet, but a month ago, Brandon and I bought a Monte Carlo SS. It is a sweet ride. I'll be posting about my latest dilemma regarding the car soon.
I hope this post finds you well and with your family this Thanksgiving holiday.
Much love and hope for peace,

Hi y'all! The name's Samantha. You can call me Sam if you like. I am a lover to a boy I met at Falls Creek in the summer of 2005, that is a student of Jesus, a Sooner born and Sooner bred and when I die I'll be Sooner dead, Democrat by party, blonde to the core, and oldies but goodies kind of girl.
