One of those posts....

Today is May 6th.
This year, seems to be the year for all celebrities to become PREGNANT. I could name several off the top of my head including: Nicole Richie, Christina Aguilara, Jennifer Lopez, Cate Blanchett, etc. And there are several more that are due very soon, including Jamie Lynn Spears and Angelina Jolie (<--this woman is a whole other post that will have to wait for another day). At this point, I hope you get where I might be going with this post.

Now, earlier I mentioned that it was May 6th. It is a simple declarative sentence--a little Shirley English for some of you.
That is a whopping 4 & half months people!! We've only been married that long. Now explain to me, why people are suddenly asking us about the B word.

Yes, I am talking about the word, BABY.

Slowly but surely, my parents, family and friends have been dropping hints, both indirectly and directly. Both of my parents told us from the beginning that whenever we decide to have kids is good for them too. However about two months ago, we had a slight scare. And ever since that time, my mother will occasionally say things like " I have a really hard time saying no my kids, what will it be like when I have grandkids?" Now yes, harmless and indirect, but still spoken. Then she will pick up babies at church. I have to tell her to put them back of course. And last night my uncle just flat out asked me when I'm having kids.

Seriously? Seriously!

Where is this coming from? I'm not mad at my parents/family/friends for asking. Just wondering why this question is occurring less than 6 months after the wedding.

That's all.

you can always have babies (via many options) you won't always be a newly wed.
